Yesterday we reported that Ellembelle,MP Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah,spent Ghc55,000 on Saminis musical performance last year in his constituency.The MP hosted Dancehall Artiste, Samini at AYA community centre at Ekwe, a town in the Western region, during the festive season.
Well the MP has denied the claim, and he has released an official statement to back it.
the statement read--
“The Ellembelle district has over the years undergone major transformation under the leadership of Mr Buah. The community centre, where the performance took place is one of the projects,”
The facility is said to have a day care centre made to house elderly people in the Constituency and to promote and encourage healthcare and wellbeing of the people of Nzema.
The MP believes that celebrities like Samini have a positive role to play in the development of the country including the Ellembelle District.
