Organized Labour are set to hold a massive demonstration to protest against fuel hikes and utility hikes. All that they want from the government is to bring the prices of fuel and utilities down but then it seems Government is not ready to do so, this is what has called for the demonstration.
Petroleum prices has been increased by 28% despite a reduction in the prices on the world market.
Water and electricity tariffs have
also seen more than 50% increases
Meanwhile police have promised to
ensure adequate security for the protesters.
In Accra, the demonstration will
start from Obra Spot near Nkrumah Circle at 7:30am.
