The first ever Photography awards is set to hit Ghana as PD Events GH is proud to announce.
Looking a social media especially Instagram one would see a whole lot of photographers this competition is to source and showcase outstanding and amazing photographs from amateurs, emerging and established photographers in Ghana. The event will also celebrate their creativity, ambitions and promote Ghanaian photography at large.
The awards are based on 14 categories to which the participants (photographers) are to submit their entries accordingly via the event’s website.
The submitted entries will be screened by a jury of five renowned Ghanaian professional photographers and photo critics after which four nominees will emerge per category.
The categories include architecture, aerial, conceptual, fashion, events, macro, people/lifestyle, special effects, portrait, night, tradition/culture, nature/wildlife, split second and wedding photography.
A press conference will be held to announce the scheduled date for the event, open the website for entry submissions, outdoor the jury and to acknowledge all partners and potential sponsors.
