Ghana's Power Minister attended the University of Bristol where he obtained his MBA and P.hD. The academic board of the University of Bristol has decided to strip Dr. Kwabena Donkor off his P.hD because of his inability to realize that the word 'load shedding' and 'Dumsor' are synonymous.
The Oxford Advance Learner's Dictionary has added 'DUMSOR' to its collection of words. According to the Dictionary; 'DUMSOR' pronounced 'doom-sore' is a popular Ghanaian term used to describe persistent, irregular and unpredictable electric power outages'. However, Ghana's Power Minister says 'DUMSOR' and the load shedding are not related.
The Minister has hidden his inability to solve the country's power crisis by making a very confusing argument saying that he will only be able to solve the DUMSOR and not the load shedding.
