The nominees list for this year’s edition of the annual Ghana Movie Awards was released recently and as characteristic of any other award scheme held in the country, Ghanaians are not happy with the list.
Not long ago EonlineGhana.Com reported of actor Eddie Nartey expressing his displeasure in the organizers for nominating award winning movie “Beasts Of No Nation” — citing that it was rather unfair to allow such a multi-million dollar budget movie to compete with movies made locally.
Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim has added her voice to chorus — expressing her frustrations via her social media page, the actress mocked the Ghana Movie Awards writing “my question is how many Ghanaian movies got nominated in Hollywood? Foolishness“.
