Ghanas Most Beautiful pageant runner up 2011 edition Jacqueline Akweley, is contesting the Ablekuma West Constituency seat of the ruling National Democratic Congress.
She has made her intention known and done all the neseccary behind the scene works.
Constituency executives have told Kasapafmonline.com her decision hasn’t come as a surprise to them.
“She’s been actively involved in the politics here,” a source said.
An ambition nursed over some years, she faces opposition from the incumbent Member of Parliament, Ursula Owusu, of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
