Nathan Kwabena Adisi(popularly known
as Bola Ray) on Wednesday morning revealed that there are no short cut to
acquiring riches and success.
He said this when he was interviewed
on TV3’s ‘New Day’ by Nana Aba Anamoah.
Bola was expatiating on a question
thrown at him if he considers himself a wealthy person. In answering, the CEO
of EIB Network said relatively, God has been good to him.
Recounting his challenging years,
Bola said he used to walk from Agbogbloshie to Legon because he closed late
from work (Radio Universe) and could not afford to pay for a taxi ride.
“I didn’t see that to be a problem.
Sometimes you close and there are market women as well as those who come to
sell at bush canteen and they’re going home so you help some of them…because
you want company.”
“We had our eyes on the big prize.
That’s why I want to tell the youth that there are no shortcuts to success.
There are no short routes to riches. I believe you have to pay your dues. You
need to be focused, ambitious, and brilliant at what you do and it will come,”
he stated.
He further went on to say that being
successful requires a lot of patience and hardwork because God has set time for
everybody.
